When I began painting seriously, I spent the first 4 years working in
black and white... to fully understand Value and because I simply
love the absence of color. In 2008 I did the Glasses Off series,
inspired by a good friend, RMK. It led me directly here, back to where
 things are basic and real and comfortable... like a great pair of jeans.
